2008.03.15 // Internet Explorer 6 Compatibility
2008.03.14 // New site sorta launched
2008.03.12 // We got our collection on Archive.org
2008.03.11 // Latest Release (VNN-002)
2008.03.10 // Firefox 3 Beta 4 Released
After what ended up being a small about of effort, the site is now IE6 compatible, or at least as close as I felt it should be. Functionality is the same, the look is about 95% the same as in Firefox. I haven't check it in IE7 yet, but I can't image that it's too messed up. I'll check into it another day.
2008.03.14 // New site sorta launched
The new site has sorta been launched today. It's still lacking a few of the important features (like artist profiles) but there's still a level of usability that's available now (like you can download releases!). Enjoy the new site, and if you have any comments about it or ideas on how to improve it, feel free to contact us.
2008.03.12 // We got our collection on Archive.org
So I woke up today to a very exciting e-mail in my inbox. Seems my request to Simon C @ Archive.org was received and processed! Now VNN has a collection to house our releases on Archive.org. You can check it out here.
2008.03.11 // Latest Release (VNN-002)
Right on the tail of our first release comes our (wait for it.........) second release - a brand new tonal odyssey from Kai Nobuko titled "Psychomania". Psychomania is describe by Kai as "noise that can either give you loads of energy and make you go completely insane." Thus far no reports of anyone going crazy, so stop being caution and download it now!
2008.03.10 // Firefox 3 Beta 4 Released
Here at Very Nice Noise we're advocates of Open Source Software especially applications like Firefox that have helped tear down the walls of Microsoft. With the latest beta release (Beta 4) of the popular free browser comes many improvements, including fixes for the memory leaks that were so apparent in Firefox 2. Because the VNN website is specially designed to look hot in Firefox, I'd like to recommend downloading the latest beta (which has proved very stable IMHO) and help the cause by helping to test it out. You can download it here.
